Flowery Wishes : #reusewithkrafttime Day 26

http://audsentimentschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2016/09/165-anything-goes-sentiment.html
Hey, there fellas!!!
I have recently hoarded so many stamps and dying to use them all. Here you are going to see me use the Hibiscus stamps from Mudra. This is a beautiful stamp with one flower image and two leaf stamps. Here you go first!

I stamped one flower in Ranger Archival black and another two using Momento pigment inks. I have used a combination of Faber castell watercolor pencils and Kabeer art brush pens to color the images. Once colored, I have fuzzy cut the images. I took a 4 X 6 card base and this is of a shiny surface one one side. I had this pretty die cut sentiment that I received as a gift from Ritika. Perfect birthday sentiment I would say!

I arranged the flowers and leaves around the sentiment an finally mounted it onto kraft card stock.

Decoupage trinket box - #ReusewithKrafttime Day 25

Hey there,
A quick post the day. I am trying out decoupage more confidently the past few days. I took a wooden trinket box from Itsy Bits to work on. It is a small one so I was more confident on not ruining it :)
Here it is first!

The tissues are from Itsy Bitsy too. I first applied a coat of Camlin Texture White and adhered the napkins using mod podge. After several coats between drying time. I applied a coat of clear varnish to seal it.
Let me know how you like it fellas!

Be a good one!

Hi all,
I have a quick post today and sharing one of my favourites so far! I recently hauled a lattice die cut from Peek-a-boo designs and was super excited when I received it. THe moment I got it I wanted to try it on a project immediately.  Here it is!

I cut the pattern on a kraft CS and saved those tiny pieces for another project! They are too cute an embellishment to lose. I then stamped the sentiment , also from Peek-a-boo, on to another kraft CS with versafine black ink and highlighted the border using a silver gel pen. I added handmade flowers as embellishment in 3 colors yellow, blue and red.

Here is another close up. What do you all think?

Watercolored Flower using Distress Inks

Hi crafty friends!
I have been wanting to try watercoloring using distress inks for some time now and finally got around to doing it. I am sharing a loose watercolor painting using Mini DI kit #1
Watercolored flower using Distress Inks [Kit #1]

First I sketched a hibiscus flower roughly and started layering colors. I have used spiced marmalade, mustard seed and picked raspberry for the flower and a combination of mustard seed and peacock feathers for the leaves and stems.
Then once I was happy with the basic coloring added some definitions to the outlines and strokes using some watercolor pencils.

I fuzzy cut the image and mounted it onto another CS and then layered it onto another panel.[Not visible in the pic though]

Let me know how it is guys!!
