Being Thankful!

Hey friends!
The year is coming to a close and we have a fresh year to look forward to. I wish to take thsi moment to pause and thank all those who made my crafting journey possible. Family, friends, relatives, co workers, supportes, you awesome blog readers and finally self. Thanks a lot for the belief and hopefully I create better things in the coming year.

I wanted a way to express this and also share it woth others using a simple means of expressions. So I came up with the bunch of tags below.

These bunch were taken off before the blink of an eye actually!
I cut tags of size 2X3 inches from various colored cardstocks and stamped a "I am Thankful For" note on all of them using my Impresso Stamping tool . That is as simple fo that.

I am sure the recipents will love the token of gratitude!!!

Hope you loved this project :)

Love

Many Thanks!!

Hi Blogger Pals!

I am here to share a card which I made for someone who has been my helping hand at work the last two months! It takes great effort to go out of the way and help someone, when you could've done with some help yourself!!

Thank you so so much ! You know who you are !

Onto the card, NO STENCILS here!!!! I DIYed a method to use washi tapes in a cross stiched pattern and daubed all sorts of DIs and chalk inks into it. It took me 4 rearrangements of washi tapes to get all the squares done. Once te colorful checkerboard was complete, I trimmed the edges and mounted it onto a black CS and onto the base card using foam tapes.
The process - repeat 4 times to complete all squares

For the sentiment, I didn't have a thank you that was bold and strong. So I used the Peek-a-boo Designs, scripty alphas stampset to build my own sentiment. I think 'many thanks' aptly delivers what i wanted to say via the card. I then rounded off the corners using a corner chomper and mounted into onto another mat and added it to the colorful base using foam tapes. Finally I added a few black beads for added interest.

Here are a couple more shots!

The sentiment...

Let me know what you guys think about this.
