Mojo Monday 322

Hi all,
This is something i did for a friend of mine. His friend is celebrating his birthday and he requested a custom made card... It has been reaallllly long since i made a card. I followed the mojo Monday template to create his card.

Here is the template provided by Julee this week.

Below is the card I designed. There are lot of small items that went into making this card. Here is how it goes.
1. Base is a A4 sized handmade paper folded into two.
2. The ribbon part of the sketch is replaced by crochet yarn made into a bow and a crochetted heart.
3. The inner square is replaced by paper doily. I just love this paper doily.
4.The inner part of the card is made up of two small cards for writing additional cute stuff. :) , added some quilled hearts :)
5. The envelope is something different in this card. I haven't gone for a traditional envelope but just folded a A4 sheet printed with flower template around the card and added a silver ribbon :) :)

Here are the pics

A cup of coffee and some love :)

Hi all,

Today I am sharing with you one of my favourite item in quilling... quilled cups. I just love doing it and the smaller it is the better I like it :)

The stand is2 cm tall and the cup is around 1 cm. I have used 1 cm strips for the stand and 4 mm strips for the cup. The handle is made out of 3mm strips. All strips are from Itsy Bitsy store.

I wanted to add a quilled flower pot but couldn't get around to doing that! So added a quilled heart to the stand. A cup of coffee with your loved ones is always a refresher !!

Hope you all like the pics..

Million thanks to Vijay for having taken these pics... They have truly turned out beautiful! :)

Happy Quilling :) :)

Quilled (Heart) tree #2

Hi all,

Today I wanted to share with the quilled tree I just finished making. It is inspired by Elizabeth Moad's numerous tree cards that she shares. Each and every design is unique and amazing :) This is a slightly different version from what I tried earlier. Instead of the leaves i added quilled hearts and adding this to my 'Sending you my love' themed collection :)

Happy quiilling folks!!!

Hi blogger pals,

Its time for another Mojo monday sketch and this time its a round or square card. The theme is designed by Julie Tilman. The sketch thows so many possiblities and the design team's take on it is just aweesome! :)

Here is my take on this weeks sketch.. :) The square template was easier to create so went ahead with it first :)

This is another card that that i created on the same love theme :) .

Heart of hearts..

This is a cute little project I did for my college Biju as he wanted to present something to his wife on their anniversary.
The heart is made of a simple arrangements of smaller hearts and outlined with tight coils.

The box is made of decorative handmade paper folded with simple folds. I have attached a small quilled flower to add flavor and added a ribbon to one end of the lid. And a small card where Biju can express his love to Hima. :)

Happy quilling :)
