Hey crafty friends :)

Even though I am still a newbie in paper crafting and card making, I have hoarded many stamp sets in the recent past. I started out with two stamps, one archival ink, and one mini distress kit . I have come a long way from there :)

I wanted to go back to my first stamps and use them again .

Here it is :)

I first stamped out the flowers in the dainty blooms stamp set and colored them using Faber-Castell watercolor pencils. I gave a water wash of a fluorescent green color on the bottom of the card using Kabeer art brush pens. I then added my favourite sentiment from one of earlier releases of Mudra under the banner Varna's Creations. "All you need is LOVE!". This is such a  lovely sentiment :)

Triangular Love

Hi all,
Today i am sharing yet another simple card which mainly has stamped images from a DIY eraser stamp. Here is the card.

I created a simple triangle stamp from an eraser and stamped off the corners using DIs.
Then I stamped the focal image and heart with triangular spaces using Archival Ink and colored them using watercolor pencils.
Added the sentiment to the card [Heart an dsentiment are from Varnas [Now known as Mudra]]

Hexagonal CAS

Hi all,
Today I am sharing an extremely simple card that I created using very few basic supplies. Here is the card first!

I took a card base and masked off some portions to create three spaces where I was going to do my embellishment. I distrssed the spaces with spiced marmalade, peacock feathers and picked raspberry DIs.
Then i stamped some hexagons using my custom made handcarved stamps out of erasers. [This is such a theraupeutic hobby for me recently.]

After the stamping I added the sentiment and a couple of dots here and there using crayons.

Embossed CAS - Black flowers!

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a simple CAS card using embossing folder technique. I have used the Itsy Bitsy embossing folder to create embossed flowers on a black CS. Added gold brush pearls and a couple of seed beads .

CASology - WASHI + In-laid die cutting TUTORIAL

Hi all,
I have a very simple CAS card to share with you also a new technique to those who have not tried it yet.

Let's check out the card first.

In-laid Die Cut CAS Card

This card is Inspired from Sid's version here. I have taken the concept of using washi tapes for die cut pieces and used it in my card.


Now What is In-laid die cutting?
It is basically die cutting your CS, then coloring or texturing it or embellish the die cut and then simply put it back in place from where it was cut out.

This creates a CUT yet NOT CUT effect. The die cut is in laid in the card itself :)

Here is how I went about creating this card.

First I lined up some washis in strips of alternating colors

I have used nesting scallop circles of two coordinating sixes and cut out from both CS and washi paper.

Then I just assembled it with the Washi outline circle. I have used the remaining negatives in the inside of the card.

Happy Birthday - CAS Card

Hi all,
 I guess I am in a card making spree.. God knows to whom I am going to give these off to :P
Today I was inspired by one of my friend's doodles and decided to try my hand in a relatively simple project. I took up as a CAS challenge. Here you go!
