SunBurst Making Rainbow card

Hi all!
I am sharing a simple card today that I made using some masking and water coloring techniques over the stamps.

First I masked off half f the card vertically and added washi tapes in a sunburst pattern. i added distress and memento inks and sponged the areas to give a rainbow effect. Once this was done , in the clear space i stamped some open and closed umbrellas and colored them using watercolors. Finally added a sun pee[ing behind the clouds and added the sentiment.

O-Range!!! Colorful jewellery

Hi all!
I am sharing yet another handmade jewellery today. I have a bracelet , earring and a neckpiece to share, but they are for 3 different people and hence the difference in coordination. The first one is a thick cord type neckpiece which is bright orange in color and has matching beaded tones. It has a bit of funky look with all the danglers around. It could make a great set if you are pairing it up with a plain cotton saree!.

The next is a bracelet for a little one. I love the multi-color beads. They are so cool looking esp for kids.

The earring is a simple one with glass beads and pearls locking a dumbell in place. It looks  really cool when you wear it . Trust me!

Let me know what you think guys!

Leafy Summer Card

Hey there!!! A quick post to share one of the cards I made using a couple of leafy stamps. I have created a staggered layer card today. Here it is first!

I took a card base of 4X6 and then took 3 more peices of card stock that measured 3.5X5.5, 3X5, 2.5X4.5 and layered it on top of each other by placing them center aligned.

Then I repeatedly stamped two leaf stamps all over the 4 layers making sure to catch each layer. Then I carefully removed the layers and mounted it onto Black CS of coordinating sizes. This gave a staggered layering effect!

FOr the sentiment I have used Peek-a-boo Designs 'Chirping away' , Wishing you a sunny day stamp and adhered it using foam tapes.

Let me know how you guys liked it!

Mommy to be!

Hi, Pals!
First up, wishing you a very happy friendship day and hope everyone had a great time. Today I am sharing a quick card that I made . I just randomly picked up a stamp set and went crazy with it. Here it is first.

I stamped the focal image on the centre of the card and added all the text sentiments around it to create a text background. The stamp set is from Craftscrappers owned by Konica Das! Do check out the wonderful and affordable collection that she has.

I have colored the entire focal image using plain color pencils. For the background I created a two tone background in pink and blue to help keep the gender surprise for the mommy. I have given random strokes to keep the background a bit uneven. I think I like this better than a clean one!!

Here is another closer look.

Here is the stampset that I have used.

Be a good one!

Hi all,
I have a quick post today and sharing one of my favourites so far! I recently hauled a lattice die cut from Peek-a-boo designs and was super excited when I received it. THe moment I got it I wanted to try it on a project immediately.  Here it is!

I cut the pattern on a kraft CS and saved those tiny pieces for another project! They are too cute an embellishment to lose. I then stamped the sentiment , also from Peek-a-boo, on to another kraft CS with versafine black ink and highlighted the border using a silver gel pen. I added handmade flowers as embellishment in 3 colors yellow, blue and red.

Here is another close up. What do you all think?

Layered stamping!

Hi, Friends!

It is time to share a new project this week and I recently spent on a huge crafty haul!! So there are many more posts to come on the way! Yay!!

Today I have made my first ever layering stamp card! This is the '' stamp set designed by 'Monica Das' and the stamp is from Konica's https://www.facebook.com/konica.konshttps://www.facebook.com/konica.kons. Be sure to checkout their page for lots and lots of awesome stamps that are completely designed by very own peoplTheTHe stamps come in 3 sizes and the one that I have used today is a 5X5 variation.

THere are 3 sizes of roses and I have used all 3 here. Not bad for a first try i guess . What do you think!
I have used Mememto inks for the card and mounted it onto a kraft CS. I think the kraft compliments the colors pretty well.

Here are a couple more shots.
