Hi all,
It is after a very long time that I am playing along a Mojo Monday sketch. This week's sketch is by Julee and I totally loved making something to go along with this. Here it goes.!

This is the sketch for this week.

I used two distressed panels for the left and right and used mustard seed distress ink to ink up the paned and create a background. And then do you want to know how i created those fun polka dots and heart shapes!!!!!! I simply made some stamps out of unused erasers i had on hand.. Yippee i had two new stamps use . I stamped them using the same inks. For the sentiment I used Varna's stamps that I had won from Ujjwal's Giveaway and put them to good use!

Say It In Black n Gold - MojoMonday 342

Hi all,
Today's card is a take on Julee's sketch for this week on MojoMonday.

Every girl loves black. Be it accessories or dresses or saris, it a craze to wear black on us. Regardless of how you look, Black always make you look good. And black when combined with the shimmer of gold does lend a beautiful classic touch.

So why not say your love with a card of black and gold!

I have done my variation on a black base , Kundan Stones, Earring caps and a Quilled flower. Hope you all like it :)

Mojo Monday 341

Hi frensz....

I just completed the Mojo Monday 341 Sketch card. I have been trying to do one of the Mojo monday templates for a long time now. Finally got some time to spare :) This week's sketch is from Julee. Here it is...

In this version, I have used Black card base, Gold glitter pen from Uniball, Pista shells and some earring caps :) :) I personally feel it has come out well and the gold adds a antic look.

Mojo Monday 322

Hi all,
This is something i did for a friend of mine. His friend is celebrating his birthday and he requested a custom made card... It has been reaallllly long since i made a card. I followed the mojo Monday template to create his card.

Here is the template provided by Julee this week.

Below is the card I designed. There are lot of small items that went into making this card. Here is how it goes.

1. Base is a A4 sized handmade paper folded into two.

2. The ribbon part of the sketch is replaced by crochet yarn made into a bow and a crochetted heart. 

3. The inner square is replaced by paper doily. I just love this paper doily.

4.The inner part of the card is made up of two small cards for writing additional cute stuff. :) , added some quilled hearts :)

5. The envelope is something different in this card. I haven't gone for a traditional envelope but just folded a A4 sheet printed with flower template around the card and added a silver ribbon :) :)

Mojo Monday 260

Hi Blogger pals,
It is time for another mojo monday!!! And since this is the last week of the month, it is a round or square card. This weeks design is also by Juliee Tilman. She does give out wonderful layouts.

I have just taken the square layout for a start and laid out some basic elements. Not much of embellishments in it but I somehow liked all the colours I used. Not the traditional colours that go with each other. It was an experiment! :)

Here's my take on this week's sketch :)

Envelope

I have used pattern paper from Itsy bitsy, Added a quilled flower and instead of the ribbon addded two popsicle sticks cut in the same shape!! The quilled teardrop shapes do give it a nice traditional feel!

Second post today! :) Wow :)
This week's Mojo monday sketch is by Juliee Tilman and it is a simple yet elegant design :)

I have used a white base card on which I have added a grey layer and 2 white strips in place of the ribbons.
Also used a circular yellow foam piece and added a quilled flower to it :) The sentiment is handwritten and done! :)

It is a very late entry to this week's challenge but better late than never!!!

Started with a basic card from Itsybitsy and added the shapes to it! The sentiment was handwritten as there weren't any stamps around here... Some pics of my first take on the sketch.

Entering into Mojo monday contest this week!!! Hope I do it every week too :)
This was the given layout by the DT team,

 

And here is my take on it. I have used a basic card from itsy Bitsy and added the shapes on top of it. 

Made a slight change to the ribbon shown. Instead of placing a ribbon, I cut patterned sheet in the same shape as in the layout. :) 

I am happy with the way it has turned out :)
