Colorful Jewellery - #reusewithkrafttime Day 30

Hey, there fellas!!!
Today is the last day of my challenge that I had set for myself, to start using up the supplies that I already had before heading out to buy more :)

Check out all the other posts here that I have created this month!!Now, onto today's post!

I had this butterfly pendant with a myriad of colored rhinestones, but was looking for the perfect way to string it all these days. It just struck me late night that it would be better off as a dangler in a simple chain than adding some beads... So I took out my sterling silver chain and attached the pendant with a bail and added a toggle clasp. For the earrings, I wanted something colorful. So I went back to my signature tiger tail bead danglers. I took colorful porcelain beads and added them as danglers on 4 strands of tiger tail with varying lengths.

Let me know how you like it guys!

Decoupage Pen stand: #reusewithkrafttime Day 29

Hey there fellas!
I am continuing my experiments with decoupage today and I have taken a wooden MDF pen stand for this purpose. The piece is from Itsy Bitsy and quite good to hold your stationery.

Here it is first for you!

I gave a coat of Camlin texture white for the base and left to dry between multiple coats. Then I took this pretty decoupage napkin from Itsy Bitsy too and removed the underneath layers. I have used mod podge for the binding of the stand and the napkins.
After covering the stand, I took twine and wrapped the top portion of the stand to an extent and colored it in pastel pink acrylic paint.

Once this was done, I thought to leave it plain, but these beautiful roses caught my eyes, I removed the layers of the flowers and arranged them in an open fashion and stamped few leaves from he itsy Bitsy stamp set, colored them nd fuzzy cut them nd arranged altogether.

Let me know how you like this fellas!

Supplies:

Miss you PIG time :( #reusewithkrafttime Day 28

There always comes a point in time when changes affect you to quite an extent. This also includes your close friends moving to find their calling . I am bitten by this bug and thought I will express my thoughts using a simple bookmark since my friends is an avid reader.

I stamped the fence and piggy on a scrap piece of paper and colored them using Faber-Castell watercolor pencils. I fuzzy cut them and adhered onto a craft card stock panel. I then stamped the sentiment, "Miss you PIG time" and cut it in a fishtail banner and adhered using foam dots. I finished the bookmark with a  piece of baker's twine.

I think this is a perfect sentiment for such situations. To say you miss them like crazy, but still waiting for them :)

Supplies:
MFT Hog heaven stamps
Kraft card stock
Faber Castell watercolor pencils

Hey there Ria! #reusewithkrafttime Day 27

Hello there!
I am trying a new medium today, Canvases!!! I have never tried my hand on one and wanted to start small. So I got this tiny canvas from Itsy Bitsy. Here it is first for you!

I gave it a wash of Camlin texture white and added a blue background for the work area.
Next I stamped ria from the Mudra stamp set and colored her hair using acrylics. I highlighted her dress using fine outliners. This gives so much dimension to the dress folds and stands out int he small canvas. I gave a light yellow coloring to the dress and added a flower to her hair :)

I wanted it to have more texture and also have a beachy, Hawaii offbeat look. So, I added rice husks to the border. I feel this gives it so much refreshing look.

Let me know what you think about this guys!

Flowery Wishes : #reusewithkrafttime Day 26

http://audsentimentschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2016/09/165-anything-goes-sentiment.html
Hey, there fellas!!!
I have recently hoarded so many stamps and dying to use them all. Here you are going to see me use the Hibiscus stamps from Mudra. This is a beautiful stamp with one flower image and two leaf stamps. Here you go first!

I stamped one flower in Ranger Archival black and another two using Momento pigment inks. I have used a combination of Faber castell watercolor pencils and Kabeer art brush pens to color the images. Once colored, I have fuzzy cut the images. I took a 4 X 6 card base and this is of a shiny surface one one side. I had this pretty die cut sentiment that I received as a gift from Ritika. Perfect birthday sentiment I would say!

I arranged the flowers and leaves around the sentiment an finally mounted it onto kraft card stock.

Decoupage trinket box - #ReusewithKrafttime Day 25

Hey there,
A quick post the day. I am trying out decoupage more confidently the past few days. I took a wooden trinket box from Itsy Bits to work on. It is a small one so I was more confident on not ruining it :)
Here it is first!

The tissues are from Itsy Bitsy too. I first applied a coat of Camlin Texture White and adhered the napkins using mod podge. After several coats between drying time. I applied a coat of clear varnish to seal it.
Let me know how you like it fellas!

"It is a girl" card #ReusewithKrafttime Day 24

Hi all,
I am here with a quick post today.
I wanted to do some sketch challenge cards so thought I will take up the peek a boo designs card sketch for inspiration.
Here is my card first and the corresponding sketch.

I created a bokeh effect on the base panel with picked raspberry distress ink and white versa craft ink.
I added a heavy lace knot on the border and stamped a stork with a bundle from peek a boo stamp set. I layered it using an offset fashion.

I have stamped "It is a girl" sentiment from the same stampset.

Let me know what you think folks

Find some LUCK! #ReusewithKrafttime Day 22

Hey, crafty friends :)

I am here with a quick post for the day today. I usually work on a panel when I plan to use kraft cardstock as the base as I never get the right colors to use on the brown shade of paper. Today I was playing around with Itsy Bitsy leafy stamps and felt that the brown can be a perfect background for a fall card.

I stamped the note first and doodled the sentiment by hand. Then took a couple of leafy stamps and went around the note all over the card. I colored the leafs in fall colors using acrylics and watercolor pencils and finished them off with a couple of flat backed pearls.

Let em know how you like this folk.

All you need is LOVE!!! #ReusewithKrafttime Day 21

Hey crafty friends :)

Even though I am still a newbie in paper crafting and card making, I have hoarded many stamp sets in the recent past. I started out with two stamps, one archival ink, and one mini distress kit . I have come a long way from there :)

I wanted to go back to my first stamps and use them again .

Here it is :)

I first stamped out the flowers in the dainty blooms stamp set and colored them using Faber-Castell watercolor pencils. I gave a water wash of a fluorescent green color on the bottom of the card using Kabeer art brush pens. I then added my favourite sentiment from one of earlier releases of Mudra under the banner Varna's Creations. "All you need is LOVE!". This is such a  lovely sentiment :)

Let me know how it has turned out fellas!
